A personal project inspired by Giuseppe Davanzati’s 1774 treatise, Dissertazione sopra i vampiri, one of the most comprehensive works on the supernatural phenomenon of vampirism. Davanzati, a renowned Italian Archbishop and scholar, traveled across Italy investigating reported cases of vampirism and examining the methods people used to protect themselves from these creatures.
